I am loving this. I'm a Slanket owner myself, but everybody knows that the Snuggie has the better (and cheesier) ads. Weezer has been around since I was a teenager and has always been known for making unique and funny videos.
I thought that Slate Magazine did a great job of poking fun at what the moon landing might look like if it were covered by today's media. Enjoy!
Love it or hate it, everybody has eaten school lunch. But have you ever been curious about what school lunches are like in other places?
Are you confused about how electoral votes work or how recent political polls will affect the distribution of electoral votes? Look no further that 270towin.com.
A little memory from my childhood...
The Westport Library is now on Twitter! According to the website, “Twitter is a service for friends, family, and co–workers to communicate and stay connected through the exchange of quick, frequent answers to one simple question: What are you doing?” It is an easy way to not only keep track of people you know, but also organizations.
Hooray! Our popular environmental wiki On The Green has been nominated for a WetPaint award in the "Civic Superstars" category. I contribute to this wiki regularly as well as my lovely coworker Nancy. You can contribute to by registering on the site. In the meantime, make sure to vote for us here. THANKS!
I don't mean to cop out and do two animal entries in a row, but I can't resist. Let's Be Friends features pictures of unusual animals being friends. What can be better? I am out of town next week...
Oh my. I do believe this is the weirdest website I've seen in awhile. PETS IN UNIFORM! Wow. For the low, low price of $19.99 you can have a photo of your pet wearing a uniform. Or, you can have me do it for free. Granted, my Photoshop skills could use some work, but you can't beat my price.
The website Finetune allows you to create streaming radio stations tailored to your specific tastes. Their catalog of songs is extensive and includes every major label in the US as well as many of the bigger independent labels, making it easy to find the songs you want.

The website miicharacters.com gives you step-by-step instructions on how to make Mii versions of famous people for your Nintendo Wii. And I thought that I was a genius for creating a Mii for Paul Newman and for our library director, Maxine Bleiweis! Shown above are Miis of Albert Einstein, Paris Hilton, and E.T.
The website Shelfari combines social networking with books. You can create a virtual bookshelf and share it with your friends. It is a great way to see what your friends are reading, and to find new books that you might enjoy. And unlike MySpace or Facebook, you don't have to feel obligated to give personal information, such as your age, location, or other interests. You can simply list the books you like to read!
If you haven't seen this by now, now's the time. This hamster is serious.
As you have probably seen on this blog before, I'm kind of obsessed with cute animals on the Internet.
I have just discovered the best website ever. SingShot is like MySpace meets American Idol.
This is by far the CUTEST thing I've seen in a long time. Make sure to watch it all the way to the end- it gets even cuter!
Have you ever wished you could have your own radio station?
Today I stumbled upon this website. The guy on the site made a poster with the book covers to every book he's ever read, depicting 750 books in all. What a cool project!
