BUILDING MAINTENANCE COORDINATOROutgoing, service-oriented individual to oversee all aspects of building and grounds maintenance at a busy public library. Performs repairs as needed for building and equipment; performs spot cleaning and emergency cleaning as required; contacts vendors for service contract work and major repairs; maintains inventory of custodial supplies; sets up meeting rooms daily; oversees part-time staff for evening and weekend coverage; cooperates with library staff in providing a safe, welcoming environment to users; helps plan for future improvements to facilities.Required: superior customer service skills; experience in building and facilities maintenance, including management of HVAC systems; ability to communicate well in English with all levels of staff and public; ability to prioritize assignments; ability to lift and maneuver tables, chairs and heavy boxes. 40-hour work week.
