Are you planning on viewing the once in a lifetime transit of Venus over the Sun? It's happening this evening, and we are all hoping for clear weather. If you don't catch it tonight, you will have to wait until 2117 for the next.
Grab your telescopes with special solar filters or projection devices and solar glasses, and gaze upward!
As part of the planetary celebration, here are some musical suggestions that feature the Sun and Venus:
Arlen, Harold. When the Sun Comes Out
Donovan. Sun Magic
Harris, Emmylou. You'll Never Be the Sun
Santo & Johnny. Venus
Scruggs, Joe. Star Sun
Weill, Kurt. One Touch of Venus
Zanes, Dan. Sunny Old Sun
