It’s an account of seemingly ordinary family activities, but absurdity, hidden desires and obscure motives constantly seep out. Amy is a creative whirlwind of acting, writing and baking. She is known for her famous cupcakes; she even took cupcakes to her recent radio interview on NPR. Her latest book is I Like You: Hospitality Under the Influence. It’s a retro and funny guide to entertaining described by one reviewer as “Martha Stewart on muscle relaxer.” Amy has acted in movies and television.

Thanks for the links re: David Sedaris and Amy Sedaris. To think of two such funny people in one family. Growing up, their household must have been a hoot!
