On Wednesday, April 9, Lily Koppel, author of The Red Leather Diary: Reclaiming a Life Through the Pages of a Lost Journal, and the keeper of the diary itself, Florence Howitt, discussed the book which recreated the life of Manhattan in the 1930s by combining Howitt's diary entries and memories from Howitt.
