Connecticut filmmaker and writer Lisa Seidenberg will be present to discuss The Road Taken …The Merritt Parkway her half-hour documentary on the tribulations of building the highway during the economic hard times of the 1930s. The film is a personal view of the Merritt, combining contemporary footage shot by Seidenberg during the year she worked on the documentary, as well as archival material dating back to the origins of the parkway. (30 mins.)
