As a part of the Dog Days of Summer events, discussion of the book The Art of Racing in the Rain by Garth Stein. 336 pages. A story about life, written from a dog's perspective. It is about the hard times and the good; it will make you cry and laugh. The actions and reactions that occur become clear and the emotions run heavy at times. Racing in the rain becomes an aspect of life and coping with the setbacks and joys of living.
