Join TEAM Westport for this open forum, the sixth in the series on Multiculturism and Race. Sociologist David L. Levinson, Ph.D., President of Norwalk Community College, will frame the issue before discussion begins. “Westporters who have attended a TEAM Westport Conversation understand our “Open Space” format encourages participation,” said Harold Bailey Jr., TEAM Westport chair. “It is not a panel of experts or a lecture,” he added. “Rather, this will be a chance for parents, teachers, students, and alumni from all of Westport’s schools—in fact, anyone who is interested in having our town’s children get into the colleges they want and succeed in the world—to raise issues important to them, share their thoughts, and even choose to take action, all in an open, honest atmosphere." TEAM Westport is the town's official committee on multiculturalism and diversity.
