On-air personality, TV executive, and producer, Sonny Fox, revived the landmark television events of the early 1950s with a remastered collection of the great shows, The Golden Age of Television. Fox will discuss and show selected clips from these award-winning programs, some originally airing on "Playhouse 90" and "Studio One," now released as a Criterion Collection. Conceived by such up-and-comers as Rod Serling and John Frankenheimer and star the likes of Paul Newman, Mickey Rooney, Rod Steiger, Julie Harris, and Piper Laurie, they are accompanied by recollections from key cast and crew members.
