In The Stranger, a member of the War Crimes Commission chases an infamous Nazi to a small Connecticut town. Orson Welles stars and directs in this fast and suspenseful film, which also stars Loretta Young and Edward G. Robinson. It was nominated for an Oscar for its exciting script. (1946, 95 minutes)
