Directory On-Line (ADOL)
ADOL is a site designed to help teachers, counselors, adolescents,
and parents better understand teen development. Includes information
on health and mental health issues, conflicts and violence, and counselor
resources about adolescence. The "Teens only" section provides
teens with access to electronic magazines, help with homework, sports
info, penpals, and games.

Bazelon
Center for Mental Health Law
Website of nonprofit organization devoted to advocacy for the legal
rights of those with mental disabilities. The site contains substantial
information on the legal aspects of the Americans with Disabilities
Act (ADA), aging, disabled children, fair housing, mental health care,
advance directives, alerts on new legislation and court cases relating
to mental health law.

Health Services in CT
The Behavioral Health Directory is a comprehensive listing of Connecticut-based
program offerings. Searchable by city/town, agency, age of clients,
form of payment, services provided and type of environment.

This directory is a well-organized, quick reference collection of
articles, Web sites, and research tools. The page is divided between
a section listing more comprehensive resources and a section of links
to more specific topics. Maintained by a clinical psychologist.
National
Alliance for the Mentally Ill (NAMI)
This organization has created a helpful and timely resource for professionals,
patients, and interested bystanders as well. The Helpline Fact Sheets
provide concise summaries of disorders while the Education and Research
sections include the latest word on disorders, medication, and research,
and the Advocacy section provides information on legal rights.
National
Institute of Mental Health (NIMH)
This site is about mental health: Depression, Anxiety Disorders, Alzheimer's
Disease, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Schizophrenia,
etc. It contains information for the researcher as well as the general
public in addition to links to other NIMH programs. Searchable. From
the National Institutes of Health.

resources for girls & women on mental and physical abuse, updates
on new legisliation and policies as well as resources for clinicians.
