Rights Society (ARS)
The Artists Rights Society originated in France to protect visual
artists' copyrights. It now represents over 40,000 artists throughout
Europe, Asia, and the Americas. The site provides information on copyright
and copyright monitoring and a browsable listing of represented artists.
Canadian
Copyrights Database
Database of all Canadian copyrights registered since October 1, 1991
plus some pre-1991 registrations. Updated daily. It includes "traditional
copyrights and copyright in other subject-matter, as well as information
on licences and assignments." Links to the Guide to Copyright

Searchable directory that includes links that provide access to an

The largest licenser of photocopy reproduction rights in the world,
formed to facilitate compliance with U.S. copyright law, currently
manages rights to over 1.75 million works and represents more than
9,600 publishers and hundreds of thousands of creators. The site explains

sites about copyright.

This group organized in response to the recording industry's growing
use of encryption and copyright law changes to prevent any copying
(including fair use copying) of music CDs (compact discs). The Web
site provides background material on the law, proposed legislation,
