Scratch is a computer programming language developed at the MIT Media Labs to make it easy for kids to create their own interactive stories, animations, games, music, and art.

It’s fun, enjoyable, and easy to learn.Besides, it helps kids understand some of the basic factors, tools, and considerations of computer programming. Scratch can be used at home and at school.

This introductory workshop on Scratch will be led by entrepreneur Dawson Byrd, a 5th grader at Kings Highway Elementary school.

Registration is required.
