Download and listen to popular and classic audiobooks on computers and portable devices that support Windows Media Player 9.0 or higher. These audiobooks will not work on iPods or Macintosh computers.

Digital audiobook titles can be found in our library catalog. You can also browse for titles on the NetLibrary site.

Step 1: Print a copy of these instructions.
Step 2:

Click on this icon to get started.

  • Type your library card barcode number.
  • You will be directed to the NetLibrary site to register, select and download your audiobook.
Step 3:

Create your NetLibrary Account

First time users must set up a NetLibrary account by clicking on the Create a Free Account link.  If you have an account, enter your user name and password in the Log In box.

Step 4: Find and download an audiobook
  • Search for a book. Click on Download this Audiobook.
  • Choose either CD quality (for high-speed connections and will transfer to an MP3 player) or Radio quality (for dial-up connections).
Step 5: Save and open the file on your computer
  • Save the file on your desktop.
  • This file is active for 21 days and may be renewed.
  • Open the file after the download is completed, and enter your NetLibrary user name and password when prompted.
  • You can now transfer your audiobook to a portable device.
