“I love our Library. It provides the soul of downtown in many ways.”
Friends of the Library
It's hard to find a person in Westport who isn't a "friend" of the Library!
What Does it Mean to be a friend of the Library?
What does it mean to be a friend of the Library? Each and every one has made a monetary contribution so the Westport Library can be as good as it possibly can be. But it's more than simply writing a check or making an online contribution. It's about the potential for involvement.
Many of our friends become involved by working and volunteering at book sales and other ventures that raise funds for programs, resources and facilities that support and enrich the Library. Others brainstorm ideas for outreach activities, cultural programs and community events to enhance the Library's efforts to foster a sense of community.
For more information on how to become involved, contact Cindy Clark, Director of Development, at cclark [at] westportlibrary [dot] org or 203.291.4824.
